Co-parenting,
finally organised.
One spreadsheet for custody, shared expenses, child support, alimony and visits. Set it up on a Sunday afternoon and never argue about who paid for the school shoes again.
- 18 connected tabs
- Instant download
- Google Sheets & Excel
- No subscription, ever
The group chat was never meant to be an accounting system.
You are not disorganised. You are running a two-household operation out of screenshots, a notes app and your own memory, and nobody ever handed you a system for it.
Receipts buried somewhere between a meme and a voice note you never played.
Neither of you remembers. Both of you are certain. And here we go again.
Two calendars, two assumptions, one child waiting at the school gate.
Uniforms, clinics, trips. Split in theory, never reconciled in practice.
Open it, name your family, get on with your life.
No spreadsheet skills. No formulas to write. If you can type a name into a box, you can run this.
Make your own copy
Download it, open it in Google Sheets, then File, Save as Google Sheets. It lives in your Drive, on every device you own.
ABOUT 2 MINUTESFill four boxes
Both parents’ names, the year, your currency. Then your children. Every dropdown across all 18 tabs fills itself from that.
ABOUT 5 MINUTESLog things as they happen
A receipt, a handover, a clinic visit. Twenty seconds each. The dashboard does the maths while you get on with the school run.
SECONDS A DAYOne page that answers every question before it is asked.
Twelve live metrics and eleven charts, pulling from every other tab. Open it on a Sunday night and you know exactly where you stand.
- Net position — one number telling you who owes whom, right now
- Support collected against support due, month by month
- Spending by category, by child and by who actually paid
- Nights with each parent, visits on time, tasks still open
Type the dates once. The whole year colours itself.
Enter your custody blocks in a simple table and all twelve months fill in automatically, colour coded by parent, with today highlighted in gold.
- Nights with each parent counted for you, no tallying
- Clashes become obvious the moment you look at it
- A separate holiday schedule for the dates that really matter
The week both households actually run on.
Who has the children, who is collecting, at what time and from where. Colour coded by parent so a glance is enough, and the day headers move with the week.
- Pick-up and drop-off, by parent, time and place
- Activities and notes, so nothing is lost at handover
- Change one date and all seven days roll forward
- Share it, screenshot it, or print it for the fridge
Every shilling logged, split and settled.
Record a cost, choose who paid and what share the other parent carries. The planner works out what is owed and keeps one running balance between you.
- Split anything 50/50, 60/40 or any share you have agreed
- A settlement log, so a transfer is never counted twice
- One net figure replaces the whole “but I paid for” conversation
A payment record you would be comfortable showing anyone.
Each payment due, each payment made, each balance carried. Status works itself out, and anything past its date flags red without you lifting a finger.
- Paid, partial, pending and overdue, calculated not guessed
- Support tracked per child, per month, with running balances
- Totals due, totals paid and what is still outstanding, at the top
- A dated, orderly record if it is ever needed elsewhere
Eighteen tabs. All of them talk to each other.
Not one of them is a blank sheet with a heading on it. Every tab is built, formatted, formula-driven and branded.
Compared with how you are doing it now.
| Group chat & memory | Subscription apps | This planner | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cost | Free, until it costs you an argument | Billed monthly, forever | KSh 800, once |
| Your data | Scattered across devices | On someone else’s server | In your own Google Drive |
| Totals and balances | Worked out by hand, badly | Usually behind a higher tier | Calculated automatically |
| Both parents can see it | Only what you screenshot | Both must sign up and pay | Share it, or don’t. Your call |
| On your phone | Sort of | Rarely offline | Yes, through the Sheets app |
| If you stop paying | — | You lose access to your history | Nothing happens. You still have it |
One file. One payment.
Nobody billing you every month.

nothing renews.
The questions everybody has.
Do I need to be good at spreadsheets?
No. You type into the cells marked with a gold edge and everything else calculates itself. There is a three-step guide on the first tab and a short note at the bottom of each one explaining exactly what it does.
Do I need to pay for Google Sheets or Excel?
No. Google Sheets is free with any Google account, which is where most people run this. It also opens in Microsoft Excel if you would rather work there.
Does my co-parent have to see it?
Only if you want them to. It sits in your own Drive. If you do choose to share it, you control whether they can edit it or only look at it.
Will it work on my phone?
Yes. Install the free Google Sheets app and the whole planner is on your phone, dashboard included. Logging a receipt at the school gate takes about twenty seconds.
How many children can I track?
Up to ten. Add their names once on the Setup tab and they appear in every dropdown across all eighteen tabs.
Can I change the currency?
Yes. The currency label sits on the Setup tab, and the symbol used in the money columns is a single find and replace.
Is this a subscription?
No. You pay KSh 800 once and the file is yours. There is nothing to cancel, nothing that renews and nothing that stops working.
When do I get it?
Immediately. The download link appears as soon as your payment goes through, so you could have it set up tonight.
Your children deserve two organised homes.
You could not control everything about how this went. You can control whether the admin of it keeps costing you your peace. Start this weekend.
