Zachariah Nyaora Obadiah, the prime suspect, in last week's assault on a female motorist along Nairobi's Wangari Maathai road has been arrested. This is according to the Department of Criminal Investigations (DCI). In posts made on the official DCI social media pages, the suspect was arrested as he attempted to cross the Kenya-Tanzania border.

Detectives from the investigations department identified Nyaora as the main suspect in the attack though forensics. However, Nyaora escaped the DCI's dragnet and has remained in the wind for the past one week.

The DCI organized for the suspect to be airlifted to Nairobi where he will charged. Already, several suspects of the attack have been arraigned in court.

The arrest of Nyaora was not received with enthusiam from a section of Kenyan online with some choosing to make light of the situation.
