Police in Nairobi are investigating the mysterious death of a 21-year-old woman, Margaret Wambui, after she fell off an apartment building in Nairobi’s Upper Hill area over the weekend.
A dedicated hotel intern with high ambitions, Wambui left her home in Kasarani at 7:00 PM on a Saturday, intending to report for her regular night shift nearby. She never reached her workplace.
Instead, security records show she entered the residential high-rise at around 10:00 PM, carrying a tote bag containing her work uniform, personal documents, and her phone. Minutes later, a violent crash on the concrete below shattered the quiet evening, launching a high-stakes homicide investigation.
The mysterious arrival
