Rose Moenga, 27, and Nevis Obasa, 30, met in 1999 at the Kahawa West Seventh Day Adventists Church where they both worshiped. At the time, Rose, an assistant programme manger with a local NGO, was still in high school while Nevis, a state counsel at the Attorney General’s office, had just finished high school. “Rose was a young girl at the time,” Nevis jokes, adding, “I thought she was beautiful and very shapely and I wanted to pursue her immediately I set eyes on her.” But something held him back. “A close friend advised me to first find out what kind of a girl she was,” Nevis says…Subscribe here for more
