Nyeri Police Launch Probe After Woman, 42, Found Dead in Boyfriend’s Home
A 42-year-old woman, Annah Nyaguthi, was found dead inside boyfriend’s house in Nyeri County in an incident that has shocked residents and raised fresh concerns about relationship safety.
Police said that the woman had visited the man’s house in the Kiamariga area after being invited by him. Officers were called to the scene after the house was discovered locked from the outside.
When police officers forced their way into the house, they found the woman’s body lying on the floor with visible injuries. The man believed to be her boyfriend had reportedly disappeared, and police launched a search for him as investigations began.
The body was later moved to a local mortuary, where a post-mortem examination is expected to determine the exact cause of death.
