MEET THE COVER MODELS

Our cover models this month are Nana Wanjau – President of the Rotary Club of Nairobi East, and her two sons: 15-year-old Vante and 11-year-old Vidray

Being the President of Rotary Club of Nairobi East, has catered for Nanas passion for service. Nana is an entrepreneur who runs two ventures: Power Talks Women – a transformational leadership programme, and Saltaway Investments – a real estate company.

Nana has been married to Raymond Wanjau, an architect, for 16 years. She believes that what you call your children is what they will become hence their Shona-inspired names. Vante means the one who leads while Vidray means the one who speaks and they listen. According to Nana, both boys have lived up to their names.

Despite her hectic work schedule, Nana prefers to spend time with her family. The Wanjaus love to travel and at any given opportunity, Nana carries them along to rotary events around the country. She describes her husband as busy (his travelling schedule saw him miss the shoot), but a committed father and husband who loves to read and keep fit.
