MEET THE COVER MODELS: JANUARY 2014

Gregory and Rosemary Sang and their children, Stacey, 14, Sydney, 10, and four-year-old Shammah, grace this month’s cover. Gregory Sang, 49, is the head teacher of St. Mary’s School in Nairobi while his wife, Rosemary, 42, is a farmer.

In their twenty years of marriage, Gregory and Rosemary say parenting has not come without challenges but they have learnt to overcome them by treating their children as individuals with different dynamic character traits. Mr and Mrs Sang feel blessed to be raising obedient, hardworking and God-fearing children. They describe their children differently: Stacey, 14, is very intelligent but also quiet, whereas their second born and only son, Sydney, 10, has taken after his mother and is very sociable. He will be joining class six in January 2014. The last-born Shammah is four years old and her parents say she is simply herself.
