6 amazing alternatives to restaurant dates

6 amazing alternatives to restaurant dates
  • PublishedNovember 22, 2022

For most people, the idea of a perfect date is synonymous with a nice restaurant in a nice location with nice food and maybe some goo music. However, having all your dates in a restaurant can get monotonous and boring with time. Here are a few alternatives to restaurants that you can try for your next date.

Picnics

You don’t have to be extroverted to enjoy a good picnic. It’s time to get out of that box. A picnic is much more than just a basket and a ‘Maasai leso’. In fact, with proper planning, a picnic can be extremely rewarding. If you don’t like planning, hire an events planner and share your idea with them then watch them deliver a fancy picnic date. You can be as extra as you want with your picnic. For example, instead of the monotonous fruit basket, carry a cooker and cook in the wilderness or better yet, hire a chef and a band. For some extra fun, bring along some board games.  These can be draughts, chess, monopoly or the like. Games will help you study your partner and observe how they think.

Go to the movies

There is always a new movie out. Don’t be a boring host with a home Netflix and chill. Going out to the movies especially works if you are still not comfortable enough to visit each other’s houses. Moreover, catching a movie with your partner gives you a chance to see how your partner behaves in different situations. For instance, do they scare easily? Do they get too excited over small things? How do they treat the guy selling popcorn at the door among other things.
