Joyce Karumba’s Children Pay Tribute to Their Mom
Joyce Wanjiru Karumba’s children remember their mother through love, warmth, and the everyday moments they shared together as a family.
Toria Karumba spoke about the special bond she shared with her mother.
“We were twins. I will miss my twin. She made the best food , she cooked with love, but her tea was magical. I will make sure I continue making tea like her so I can keep her legacy alive. By the time she left us, I had caught up with her height-wise. I am her look-alike. I will miss my twin.”
Riri Karumba remembered her mother’s love for animals and the joy she brought into their home.
“My mom loved pets. We had two cats, but because of her condition we had to give them away. Dad, can we get another cat and name her Joy after mom, in her memory?”
Imani Karumba, who recently celebrated his birthday on the anniversary of his mother’s passing, shared that he misses her deeply and remembers the love she showed him every day.
Joyce Wanjiru Karumba was a designer, digital creator, entrepreneur, and devoted mother whose strength and faith inspired many who followed her journey. As family and friends gather today to lay her to rest, she is remembered as a loving mother, a supportive wife, and a courageous woman who faced life’s challenges with grace.
