Geoffrey Mosiria has found a rather unusual way of teaching Nairobi pedestrians to use footbridges. After catching people crossing the road instead of using the footbridge, he made them collect garbage.
It is the kind of scene that makes you laugh because, really, who expects a road-safety lesson to end with a garbage bag?
For parents, the situation feels especially familiar. You tell your child not to cross the road carelessly, and they ask, “Why?” Mosiria has now provided a very practical answer: because you might end up cleaning the road.
