BITE ME: I AM SUPER FRUIT PEPINO MELON

You have probably spotted an oval, golden, purple-striped fruit in your local grocery store and wondered which fruit that was. Well, that fruit is pepino melon. Ironically, they are not really melons but are so called because of their melon-like taste. Pepino melons are sweet and juicy with a floral aroma.  Because of its robust nutritional content, the fruit is often touted as a super fruit.
