Kiengei Exposes Toxic Fight Over Kaluma Support

What began as a heartwarming story of compassion and national unity has taken a new twist, with reports of family tension surrounding 17-year-old TikToker Kaluma Boy.

In a Facebook post, Bishop Ben Kiengei narrated how some of Kaluma’s relatives have been accusing his mother of making decisions without consulting them. “The ambulance that came to pick up our brother,  we were not consulted,” one relative said. Another added that they were shocked to hear the family’s new house would be built in Chaka, not their ancestral home in Ngaru, claiming they had not been informed.

According to Bishop Ben, some of these relatives had already profiled Mama Kaluma as a “liberal wife,” even involving her mother-in-law in discussions meant to undermine her. Despite the gossip and criticism, the bishop praised her strength, revealing how she has carried the burden alone for years, caring for her husband, raising their children, and picking tea to make ends meet.

In his post, Bishop Ben also shared a message of faith and encouragement: “Your brother will come back home walking, and his family will shine forever. Great things await the Kaluma family.”

As the story unfolds, Bishop Ben’s words strike a deeper truth: families should stand together through both storms and sunshine. Relatives who reappear only after success should remember that real loyalty is shown in seasons of pain, not celebration. Kaluma’s journey is a quiet testament that love, patience, and perseverance speak louder than words.
