It was all glitz at the 2018 Kalasha Awards held at Safaripark Hotel. Top industry leaders, celebrities and government officials put their best foot forward to celebrate the local film industry and support their favs.

It was a double win for Churchill show which bagged the Best performance in TV comedy and Best host on TV through comedian MCA Tricky and MC Jessy respectively.

Talented actress Brenda Wairimu won the Best Lead Actress in the film category  for her exemplary role in the film Subira, while heart throb Pascal Tokodi took the Best Supporting Actor for his performance in the movie, Disconnect.

The emcees for the evening were Amina Abdi and Jeff Koinange.
