IEBC announces tenders for upcoming elections

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) early this week invited traders to submit tender applications for the supply of ballot papers in preparation for the upcoming general election.

The tender notice also pointed out to a possible referendum even as the nation awaits a ruling from the court of appeal on the way forward for the building bridges initiative.

The tendering shall be done under the open international tendering method using a standardized tender document and  will be a three year framework contract.

Interested candidates  can obtain the complete tender document at the IEBC procurement office at anniversary towers or download it from the official website of the electoral body.  The agency has also announced that interested traders must provide a tender security equivalent to 20 million Kenyan shillings  in form of a bank guarantee.

Completed applications must be delivered at IEBC’s procurement office at anniversary towers on or before August 13, 2021 .
