Kenyatta University student commits suicide, leaves burial instructions

The Kenyatta University fraternity, is in shock after a 5th-year medical student was found dead in her room after allegedly committing suicide.

According to Kenyatta University Student Association president Were Were, Stella Karanja , left behind a note with clear instructions on how her burial should be carried out, including that her brother and ex-boyfriend should carry her casket during the funeral procession.

A diary she kept had a record of various suicide methods she had been contemplating for several weeks.   She outweighed various options such as charcoal/carbon monoxide, drinking bleach and a rope, which she finally settled for.
