Grace and Kenneth Mathenge and their nine-month-old daughter, Tanisha Wambui, grace this month’s cover. Kenneth, 31, is a risk management and insurance consultant at Pacific Insurance brokers, Grace, 30, is an administrative assistant at First Assurance Company.
The couple, who have been married for two years, attribute constant communication as the key pillar to their successful marriage. They also have an older couple that mentors them through their marriage life. They say that parenting has changed their lives in many positive ways. They have learnt to work as a team and to be prudent while making decisions that concern their family. They describe their nine-month-old as a playful, cheerful and jovial girl. Although she is too young to notice this, she encourages the couple to work hard and provide the best that life can offer.
