Emily Muthaa Karechio and her three-year-old daughter, Salma Muthaa, grace this month’s cover. Emily is the founder of Muthaa Community Development Foundation. Her work entails training, consulting and advocacy. Her daughter is a student at Consolata School, Nairobi. Salma enjoys swimming and ballet dancing.
