Meet the cover models: September 2013

Generica Moraa Ochari, 24, and her son Rozonno Ryan Ochari, one year and seven months, grace this month’s cover. Generica works as a Business Development Associate with Compulynx.
WHAT IS YOUR PARENTING EXPERIENCE?
I am a single parent and my experience has generally been good. As a young, single mother, of course I have been through ups and downs but I am grateful to God, my loving and caring dad Cleophas Ochari, my sister Rachel Ochari and my two lovely brothers Francis and Emmanuel Ochari.  They have been there for my baby and I and have surrounded us with a lot of love and support. It would not have been easy without them.
DESCRIBE YOUR SON
Rozonno Ryan is an awesome child. He is adorable and a quick learner. We have a very strong bond. Although he came when I was young, he is the best thing that ever happened to me.
HOW DO YOU DISCIPLINE YOUR SON?
I must admit that sometimes it is tough but once in a while I spank him depending on the wrong he has committed. However, I prefer to explain to him the mistake he has done and try to show him what the correct thing to do is. As he grows older, I plan on employing dialogue instead of spanking.
