The Nairobi Hospital board has extended the suspension of its CEO Gordon Odundo due to its going fight for control of the medical institution.

Earlier this week a letter sent to Gordon Odundo from the hospital’s board Chairman Mr. John Simba stated that that the management had decided to extend the suspension to April 13.

“Your leave expires on March 13 and the board at its meeting on February 25 approved your compulsory leave be extended to April 13,” said Mr Simba in a letter.

This comes after Odundo was sent on a three month leave to pave way for an audit over tendering processes at the facility .

At stake is the control of billions of shillings in tenders for the hospitals projects and the  revenue the hospital generates.
