POTATO CROQUETTES RECIPE AS ILLUSTRATED BY PAMELLAH ODUOR

Today we decided to share a recipe we found very interesting from Pamellah Oduor of Spice Land.

Break the “madondo” monotony at home and try this. If you cant put it together then you definitely need to visit her class.

REQUIMENTS

• 4 cups mashed potatoes
• 2 tablespoons milk
• Salt
• 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
• ½ teaspoon garam masala
• 1/2 teaspoon chopped green onion
• 1 egg beaten
• 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

To Coat

1 egg, beaten
Sifted dried bread crumbs

Oil to Fry

-Add milk, salt, pepper, chopped onion, beaten egg and flour to mashed potatoes.
-Divide mixture into equal balls then roll into sausage shapes.
-Dip in the beaten egg, then roll through bread crumbs.
-Deep fry the croquettes till golden brown.
-Serve with a dip and a salad of your choice.
