100 high school students are set to benefit from a 40 million shilling fund set aside by Safaricom.

Each county across Kenya is expected to produce a boy and girl, who are all from needy backgrounds and those living with disabilities.

Safaricom CEO , Bob Collymore said the initiative will cover tuition fees, uniform and school shopping for the four years of high school learning.

“We remain committed to our promise to Kenyans that we will be the brand that is present through the good times and the bad, the highs and the lows, the easy days and the tough ones. Whether it is by supporting bright but needy students or providing health facilities and water projects”, said Collymore.
