The Huawei Y6 Prime 2019 is finally here
Huawei Mobile has launched the Y6 Prime 2019 which will retail at Sh13,499 across all retail stores in the country.
The Y6 Prime comes three months after the launch of the Y7 Prime and comes in three colours: sapphire blue, amber brown and midnight black.
Speaking at the launch, Head of Eastern Africa Mobile, Steven Li, said that the phone is meant to cater to the growing demand for budget phones and encouraged customers to pre- order within two weeks.
“Thanks to the enthusiastic support of consumers and partners in Kenya, as well as the demand for quality affordable phones we once again launch another Y series in the Kenyan market; Huawei Y6 2019,” he said.
Huawei has also partnered with credit facility Lipa Later to finance Huawei Customers to buy the phone over an extended period.
The Y6 2019 is sleek with rounded curves for better grip and lightweight(150g) with the amber-brown model having a stitched leather back.
It boasts of 13MP rear camera that ensures imaging quality with its high resolution, whereas the front camera is 8MP with beautification algorithms.
