This April, we caught up with Beryl Wanga Itindi who is one of the best writers of our times. The 36-year-old Beryl and her adorable five-year-old daughter Soriala grace the April 2021 issue.

Beryl is a PR and communications practitioner and a columnist with the Eve Woman Pullout on The Standard where she writes the critically acclaimed ‘Girl Code’.

She is also the founder of Bees Haven Daycare and Kindergarten in Syokimau.

This issue is also packed with other phenomenal women such as Dr Muthoni Gitata, the first female dentist and oral surgeon of African descent in Kenya. She shares her incredible journey in My Story.

In the same breath, Risper Genga Ohaga shares invaluable advice from her impressive career in Real People, Real Lives. Get your dose of inspiration from homegrown journalist Patrick Igunza in the Young Achiever’s column and Redemter Mwikali, whose brand of heroism is unlike any you’ve seen before.

Draw relationship gems from Joe and Esther Kehara who have been married for 34 years as you immerse yourself in the real-life accounts of a gospel artist who was moulded from tough beginnings, an accident victim who had to make the difficult decision to have her arm amputated to save her life and a young lady bravely battling depression.
