  • PublishedJanuary 16, 2026

Here’s a list of comic book movies coming out in 2026 that you and your loved ones can catch.

Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow

Set to Release Jun 26th, 2026
The film is based on an eight-part graphic novel series written by Tom King and illustrated by Bilquis Evely. The film will be the second installment in the DC Universe; it is directly linked to Superman: Legacy.

The story will follow Supergirl as she runs away from the reality of the death of her parents by partying across the galaxy. Supergirl will be played by fan favorite Milly Alcock, the young Rhaenyra Targaryen on HBO’s ‘House of the Dragon’ TV show.

Woman of Tomorrow will be a measure of the actress’s mettle. As she hurdles emotional challenges in the dawn of a brave new cinematic universe.

Avengers: Doomsday

Set to Release: December 18th, 2026
Set to release in December of 2026. Avengers: Doomsday was initially scheduled for release in May 1st 2026. This window allowed additional tweaks. As Marvel Cinematic Films require a lot of leg work, in terms of production.

Though the plot is under wraps. Robert Downey Jr. will not be reprising his role as the devilishly charming Iron Man. Instead, he will don an iron mask and cloak and debut as the villain, Dr. Doom.

The film will be directed by the Russo Brothers, Anthony and Joe Russo. Alongside Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Avengers: Doomsday will be scheduled for release in the sixth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Avengers: Secret Wars will follow a year later. Releasing on December 17th, 2027.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day

Set to Release July 31st, 2026
Taking place after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Tom Holland’s Spider-Man faces life after the demise of his aunt and sole guardian, Aunt May (Marisa Tomei).

Our main protagonist must brave a new era in his life where all his loved ones and associates have been magically forced to forget he exists. Including his love interest MJ (Zendaya).

New characters are set to enter the scene as actor John Bernthal reprises his role as the Punisher.

Comic book lovers will be at the edge of their seats as Mac Margan, AKA Scorpion (Michael Mando), and Lonnie Lincoln, AKA Tombstone (played by Marvin Jones III).

Clayface

Clayface is a key character in the development of Batman’s story. He is a shapeshifting monster who terrorizes the denizens of Bruce Wayne’s city, but before that he was an underappreciated actor plagued with body image issues.

Although Clayface is a comic book movie adaptation, it is by no means family friendly. It will explore the origins of this Batman villain, shedding light onto his past as a body- horror film.
