Wednesday 27th will be remembered as a dark day for the Kenyan film industry after celebrated actor, Kone Nouhoum passed away.

Kone was famously known for his role in the Kenyan telenovela Selina where he played as Reagan, a charming and corrupt businessman.

The actor had been involved in a grisly accident five months ago which left him in the ICU at Nairobi Hospital. During that period, he underwent several surgeries after getting multiple fractures in his spine. According to sources, he  also  experienced breathing difficulties.

The deceased also featured in other TV shows like Mali, This is Life and New Beginnings.

Several members of the acting fraternity and fans have taken to social media to pass on their condolence messages.
