A census official has set tongues wagging after he urinated in a family’s living room in Murang’a County after appearing for the exercise drunk.

“Samuel Ndirangu turned up in the house of the family drunk and without the census gadgets. In the presence of all the family members he opened his trouser and started urinating in the living room,” revealed Murang’a East police boss Alex Musyia.

On seeing this the owner alerted the neighbours who called the police who in turn rushed the official to Murang’a Hospital to be stabilized. The official later led the police to his girlfriend’s house where they found the census gadgets.

“The official will be charged in court on Friday,” said police boss Alex Musyia.
