Al Shabaab suspect gunned down by police in Kwale

An al shabaab suspect has been killed by police officers in Kwale on Friday morning in Kwale.

“The suspect opened fire on the police officers after he was ordered to surrender in Ng’ombeni area in Matuga. One police officer was injured during the shootout,” said Kwale Police County Commander Tom Odero while confirming the incident.

A gun was recovered from the suspect who has been linked to the deaths of Omari Fumbwe and Nyumba Kumi chairman Bakari Dondo.
