DAVID WAMITI Using mentorship to raise education standards

David Wamiti, a mechanical engineer at Kenya Breweries Limited, understands that education is a sure ticket to economic empowerment. It thus pained him when he discovered that his former schools were performing dismally.  Not one to sit back and watch things move from bad to worse, Wamiti started a non-governmental organisation where he mentors school children to push their limits. The 38-year-old shares his refreshing story with HENRY KAHARA.
