Nathan and Ciru Katua have been married for 10 years. They are both missionaries and are currently setting up a campsite, retreat and training centre in Machakos. They narrate to EDNA GICOVI how a four-year long struggle with burnout and depression nearly broke their marriage and the lessons they learned from their experiences.
“There’s a story Nathan likes to tell about marriage being like making mashed potatoes,” says Ciru.
