Kids’ Paradise is a family event consisting of over 40 different activities and amusements. Christine Miako from Kenya Diaspora link recalls how she  founded it, “I got the idea to do the event when I realized there are very few kids events, where families can go and have a great time.”

In the last two years, the Kenya Diaspora Link has successfully organized similar events: the Family Fun Day at Windsor and the Capital Kids Club Holiday Funfair and several Kids’ Paradise events in 2013, and propose to organize the Kids’ Paradise event on a monthly basis.

Christine added, “Each event has a different theme to keep it exciting and to keep families coming back to the events. There are activities for all ages including an exclusive Toddler area and activities for older kids and adults.”

The event whose primary target market includes Diaspora returnees, middle to upper income families, diplomats and expatriates, recently held Kids Paradise at the Carnivore grounds, whose theme was the animated film characters “The Smurfs”.

It consisted of theme amusement games like, the Great Gargamel Chaseathon, The Smurfs Big Danceathon, and races with “Bumba the Clown”. Non-theme games that were also available, Creative art and craft corner, jumping castles, face painting, hopscotch boards, clowns, Smurfs mascots and creative play. Paintball shooting challenge was one of the adult activities present.
