Githurai girl, Amani signed to Pine Creek Label

Gracious Amani’s star is on the rise after she was signed yesterday by Pine Creek Label. Amani who commonly known as Githurai girl became an internet sensation after her rendition of ‘Girl On Fire’ went viral.

Pine Creek Label expressed their enthusiasm at signing Gracious and her artistic name is going to be Amani G. “Ladies and Gents… join us in welcoming Amani G to our Record Label!” announced Pine Creek on Twitter.

Two weeks ago, Alicia Keys who is the original singer of Girl On Fire recognised Amani’s effort through an Instagram post.

She posted the video of Gracious singing and captioned it: “Look at this beautiful soul!! SHINE!!!!”.

]Gracious is definitely shining and is elated by her launched music career. She appreciated everyone who had helped the video go viral and promised to make them proud.

Local musician Vivian awed by the girl’s incredible vocal range and went ahead to record a song with her.

Gracious is the daughter of famous singer Wuod Fibi and sings for her church choir back home. Amani’s mother Precious Pendo is excited over the deal and said that more details will be revealed on Friday.

Kenyans were also happy that Gracious’ talents would now be nurtured and were abuzz at twitter expressing their gratitude to Pine Creek Label.
