Kenyan digital creators Nicholas Kioko and Wambo Ashley have announced that they have gone their separate ways after four years together.
In a joint statement shared with their fans, the couple revealed that they separated three months ago and have since taken time to process and come to terms with the decision.
“After four years together, we have mutually decided to go our separate ways,” they said.
The former couple, who have shared aspects of their relationship and family life with their online audience, said that despite the end of their relationship, their focus remains on their children. They are parents to three children, including two boys and a daughter.
“While our relationship has come to an end, we remain committed to raising and loving our three amazing children, our twin boys and our beautiful daughter,” the statement read.
The announcement comes after years of the couple building a following online, where their relationship, family and day-to-day experiences have been part of the content their audience followed.
Kioko and Wambo said they are choosing to approach the new chapter with peace and respect, while asking their fans and the public to give them privacy as they navigate the transition.
“We are choosing peace, respect and a new chapter,” they said, adding that they appreciate the love and support they have received over the years.
The couple did not disclose the reasons behind their separation, choosing instead to keep the details of their decision private.
For the family, the announcement marks the beginning of a new chapter, with both parents emphasising their continued commitment to their children despite the changes in their relationship.
