When it comes to ringworms, children are an easy prey. Ringworms are quite common and so they need not give you sleepless nights when your child gets them.
Ringworms are caused by a fungus that affects the skin causing the affected part to turn ashy and flaky, become itchy and take the shape of a ring. In many instances, ringworms tend to appear on the head.
