The Director of Public Prosecutions is appealing to the public to provide information that may lead to the arrest of youthful preacher Ken Gomeri who has been accused of preying on school girls.

Gomeri was thrust into the limelight after a social media user only identified as Purity revealed her ordeal in the hands of the preacher. Immediately thereafter, a number of women, mostly in their early 20’s corroborated Purity’s account by narrating their unpleasant experience with the preacher. This prompted Kenyans on social media to urge the DPP to take action.

On Tuesday, the DPP tweeted:

“If you have information and evidence relating to the same please send it to [email protected].”. This was followed by another tweet that stated: “Please note that you are not being asked to investigate BUT to provide information that will lead to investigations.”

Accusations against the Kasarani preacher came hot in the heels of a damning sex exposé involving Gospel artistes DK Kwenye Beat, Hope Kid and a 20-year-old Nakuru woman. DK Kwenye Beat issued a public apology that did not go down well with netizens.
