Do you want get the most out of your day? Try these tips to make your day more productive!

Declutter your work space

Clear your desk and rid it of all clutter. The state of your desk mirrors the state of your mind.  A cluttered desk points to a cluttered mind, an organized desk would mean otherwise.

It is also easier to lose pens, stationery and important documents if your desk is cluttered. The state of the desk also has a significant impact on your moods. Try clearing out your desk and you will be surprised how peaceful and more enthusiastic about the day you are.

Write down tasks for the day

It is nice to know the tasks that you need to accomplish for that day for the sake of planning and accountability. Write a whole list of tasks, pick the 3 most important tasks and put them down on a different paper. Stick this paper where you can see it so you can keep being reminded of the tasks.

You will feel a great sense of accomplishment when, at the end of the day, you will have finished the tasks. It will put you in a better place to accomplish the next day’s tasks.

Schedule your working day

Divide your day into portions so you may know what to do and at what point. This way you will avoid wasting time and you will make sure all the activities of the day are done.

Avoid social media

You know how distracting social media can be. You hop in to check a story, next thing you know, it is lunch time. So, unless your job is centered around it, avoid social media.

Eat a good breakfast

Do not start the day hungry, that alone will make you testy, and testy and productive do not go hand in hand!
