Simon Ngara, 28, and Catherine Ngara, 26, shared Sunday sermons and sat in the same youth meetings in their local church as casual acquaintances. This changed when they once shared an umbrella on one rainy evening. They narrated their love story to WANGARI MWANGI.

Catherine and Simon met in 2005 at the Presbyterian Church of East Africa (P.C.E.A) Kahawa Farmers Church, off Kamiti road. They belonged to the church’s youth group and often interacted as acquaintances, but things got a new perspective on a rainy evening in February 2007.
