Condolences pour in for Ruth Matete after husband's death

Messages of condolences have been pouring in for musician Ruth Matete following the death of her husband Pastor Beloved John Apewajoye.

These came after news of his death broke on Sunday evening. Beloved John, as he is commonly known, passed on at a local hospital while receiving treatment for fire burns sustained in a gas explosions at their home.

Ruth Matete, who is in her first trimester of pregnancy, confirmed her husband’s death through her social media accounts.

“My Husband Beloved John Apewajoye has gone to be with the Lord ..I humbly ask for your prayers during this difficult time,” Ruth Matete wrote.

Beloved John’s death comes barely five months after their grand wedding which was held in November 2019.
