Exercise keeps the heart happy
A US research has challenged the theory that exercise can counter the impact of obesity and instead emphasises its importance to heart health. Scientists analysed 39,000 women for almost 11 years and discovered that body mass index and physical activity is key to cardiac health. Heart disease was lowest for active, normal-weight women. The risk of heart disease was 54 per cent higher in overweight active women and 87 percent higher in obese active women. So watch both your weight and fitness to keep your heart happy.
