Girl in Suna kills herself over KCSE results

Caren Onyango from Osingo village in Suna jumped into a dip well after she received news of her KCSE performance. Family sources claimed that the Moi Nyabohanse Girls Secondary School student was shocked by her results and could not come to terms with them.

According to Standard, Caren was sitting for her KCSE for the second time after attaining a similar grade of C- at Osingo Secondary School in 2015.

Speaking to the press, her father, John Okello, the late Caren was disciplined and he never quarreled her.  Her mother recalled how she sacrificed for her daughter to resit her exams.

Caren’s dream career was to be an accountant.
