Harambee Starlets, the national women football team, was struggling to make a name for itself a few years ago. In April this year, the team qualified for the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) for the first time ever and the world took notice. The qualification cemented the team’s place as a force to reckon with in the region. Here is a profile of the team flying the Kenyan flag high. Let’s celebrate them!
