Meet the Cover Models

Gracing our cover this month, as we celebrate Mother’s Day, is 30-year-old award winning media personality and multiple brands ambassador, Grace Msalame. Her six-year-old twin daughters, Zawadi Toni Mwaura and Raha Jasmine Mwaura, join her on the cover.

Grace is the immediate former contents and acquisitions manager at Bamba TV, a digital multiple channel decoder service owned by the Radio Africa group. She resigned last month to pursue her call into ministry.
Grace says motherhood is her greatest role yet and she hopes to raise the girls as fearless go-getters, God-fearing and loving women. She spends most of her free time bonding with the girls. When she does have some time to herself, she likes to read, listening to music and dance.
In a surprise move that had many Kenyans talking early last month, Grace openly embraced a blended family arrangement with the father of her children. She sparked a debate on social media on whether families can co-parent successfully with their partners and new spouses. In this Mother’s Day special issue, Grace shares her life as she talks about family, raising her girls and embracing her call to ministry.
