Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has on Wednesday revealed that he has been admitted at Karen Hospital for the past 27 days with Covid-19.

Kuria has urged Kenyans not to let their guards down as Covid-19 is real.

“I hope that beyond all the debate around Covid-19, all and sundry will not forget that Coronavirus is real. The worst thing we can do is to lower our guard,” the legislator posted on his Facebook timeline.

Kuria recognized and appreciated the sacrifice made by the frontlines.

“And above all, let us remember our gallant front line workers – not just doctors and nurses like but subordinate staff who put their lives in the line of danger to give care to Coronavirus patients. If you are in a hospital bed – like me for the last 27 days here at Karen Hospital you witness firsthand the amount of sacrifice they make amid vert difficult circumstances,” the Gatundu South MP said.

The legislature has acknowledged that his experience has taught him to focus more on the virus, front line workers and less on sideshows.
