Size 8 shares heartbreaking pregnancy story after preterm delivery
Size 8 has been reportedly discharged from hospital after hers and husband DJ Mo’s baby was delivered preterm, baby remains in hospital.
According to a series of Instagram posts and Youtube video, the Gospel musician has shared her quite tumultuous pregnancy journey, along which, she says, she came within inches of death so many times.
“For me, getting here is a miracle. I almost died several times because of this pregnancy. It does not matter whether you have Sh10 million or Sh1 million; if you do not have life, you cannot enjoy what you have,” said the singer.
Her first pregnancy with daughter Ladasha Wambo was just as difficult. This one was occasioned by convulsions and she at one point developed minor stroke that left her paralysed on her left side. She underwent MRI scans to ascertain the cause of this.
“They were trying to find out if I had organ failure. They changed my medication and directed me to see a heart physician, where I was given some medicine and told to report back regularly for check-up. My pressure, later on, normalised a little bit,” narrates the Moto hitmaker.

At the height of her convulsions, she noticed her baby was not active and notified her doctor. By then, she was unable to breathe or walk.
“The last scan I had revealed that I had 34 weeks, four days. So they were trying to see if they could buy more time. They tested and discovered that the baby’s heart rate was above 180 and concluded that they could not hold on anymore,” she added.
With that, the decision to deliver the baby prematurely was made and it was immediately rushed to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
This baby came on the heels of a miscarriage that Size 8 has at five weeks, back in 2018.
