Superior Homes launches homes for senior citizens
Real Estate developer Superior Homes Ltd has launched a one-of-its-kind retirement home dubbed Fadhili Retirement Village. Situated at Greenpark Estate in Athi River, the project consists of 40 specially designed cottages to cater to the needs of senior citizens.
Speaking at the launch, the Sales and Marketing Manager, Joseph Karuga said the cottages come in one or two bedrooms and are fitted with anti-slip floors; an important feature to prevent accidents.
“This is a new concept in the Kenyan real estate market but Fadhili Retirement Village was born out of the need for retirees to have smaller houses that suit their immediate needs. The special design is to ensure the safety, security, convenience and wellbeing of the residents,” said Mr. Karuga.
Other features include:
wide doorways in case of walking aids
housekeeping services
access to staff at all hours
social amenities such as a clubhouse, swimming pool and health centre
Anti-slip floors, Low counters for easy access
Fadhili Retirement Village is located in a serene environment
Each of the cottages will also have an emergency button fitted.
The first phase of the project is already complete with 12 out of the 40 cottages ready for occupation while the rest are set for completion in May 2019.
