A 70-year-old grandmother who went missing has been found alive in an unused 25-foot pit latrine at Kananachi village in Kimimini.

Sellina Musoya, who went missing six days ago is said to have disappeared after collecting her monthly stipend from Government.

She was found half-naked in the latrine at a nearby homestead after the owner heard her desperate cry as he was doing his daily rounds in the compound.

Speaking to the Standard, area chief Samson Webi suspects Musoya was abducted as she prepared supper. This was after they checked her house and found some beef she had bought abandoned near the fireplace.

“Police are waiting for her to regain strength and recover from the shock to record her statement. The people behind her disappearance will surely face the law,” said Webi.
