August 8 was the date for the General Election in Kenya. It was the day when the only people who mattered then were the candidates for the various positions. But before this day, before these candidates got to this point, tens of other men and women spent hundreds of man-hours convincing anyone who gave them time why they should vote for this and not that aspirant. These were the campaigners.
