In a heart breaking narration, Maxwell shared on his Facebook page how his daughter was snatched from him by his aunt-in-law after his wife succumbed to liver and post-pregnancy complications. The story went viral with Kenyans rallying behind him under the hash tag #justiceforBabyTamara. Several Kenyans tagged the investigation agency prompting the DCI to eventually respond.

According to the father of one, the in-law accused him of kidnapping his baby and not giving her medication. He revealed that he gave up the fight to keep his daughter after some police officers allegedly  threatened to kill him.
