Taraji P Henson will be starring in his movie playing a sports agent who can hear the thoughts of men. This comedy is set to hit the screens in February 8 and will also feature Wendi McLendon-Covey and Max Greenfield.

Captain Marvel

Marvel studios are at it again with its first ever female superhero Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) getting all the action in her solo movie. opening date for this movie which will also feature Samuel L. Jackson and Lee Peace will air on March 8.

Plot details are still scanty on this one. Director Jordan Peele has decided to keep us in suspense with this one which will be a follow up of his 2017 movie, Get Out. Lupita Nyong’o, Elizabeth Moss, Winston Duke are among those starring so we expect a big hit! Be on the look out as from March 15.

Avengers:Endgame

This is by far one of the most anticipated movies of the year! How will Avengers recover from the mass destruction wrought by Thanos? How will they defeat him now that he has all the stones? To piece this plot you may well… have to watch Captain Marvel for some hints. All that we know based on the trailer is that Hawkeye and Antman are back!  April 26 is the opening date. Mark your calendars people.

John Wick: Chapter 3

Chapter three pick off right where chapter two left off. catch this thriller from May 17 where John must survives the bounty on his head… solo! Starring Keanu Reeves, Halle Berry,Ian McShane, Laurence Fishburne, Anjelica Huston.

Aladdin

The live action version of the 1992 animated classic will see Will Smith taking up the role of the genie, Naomi Scott as Princess Jasmine and Mena Massoud as Aladdin. Bring the kids for this one! it opens on May 24.

Godzilla is back in the global ring with new challengers Mothra Rodan and King Ghidorah. This epic movie will feature Vera Farmiga, Millie Bobby Brown, Kyle Chandler, Sally Hawkins, Ken Watanabe. opening date is set for May 31.

x-Men Dark Phoenix

The plot for this one will be centred on the character of Jean Grey ( Sophie Turner). The younger mutants including James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence make a comeback in this movie scheduled to air on June 7

Men in Black International

Sorry guys, Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones will not be starring in this one but we absolutely do not mind cooing over Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson. Keep your eyes glued from June 14.

Artemis Fowl the novel kept our fingers glued on each page now our eyes will bear the brunt of this best seller. We can’t wait to see how Judi Dench and Josh Gad work this one. The plot is about a young criminal mastermind who kidnaps a fairy in hopes of ransoming her to an evil pixie in exchange for his father. August 9 is the date to look out for!

The Angry Birds 2

Gamers will be on the look out for this one which has attracted an impressive voice cast including Peter Dinklage, Rachel Bloom, Bill Hader, Danny McBride, Sterling K. Brown, Awkwafina. Level up with this one as from September 20.

Joker

There will be no joking around with this one which will see multiple Oscar nominee, Joaquin Phoenix as the criminal mastermind. Robert De Niro and  Zazie Beetz are also both currently in talks to co-star. It is set to open on October 4.

Frozen 2

Disney has remained a little tight lipped about the film which will star Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel. All we know is that Frozen 2 will feature seven new catchy songs and be more epic than ever according to Disney. the movie will open on 27 November.
