'I probably would have had five children if I started earlier'- Halle Berry speaks on pregnancy and motherhood

American actress Halle Berry in a recent interview revealed that she would probably be a mom of five by now if she had considered motherhood earlier.

In an interview with American magazine InStyle,  52-year-old Berry admitted that she loved being pregnant although she had been caught up with her acting career earlier on.

“All the hormones made me feel amazing. I was so alive with my purpose and my femininity. It felt like my body was doing what it was built to do,” said the mom of two – daughter Nahla and son Maceo.

Berry, who is the first African American actress to win an Oscar award, also  added: “If I hadn’t been busy trying to make movies, I would have been the perfect surrogate.”

Moreover, Berry stated that motherhood gave her life meaning. She said: “Knowing that someone would always be counting on me made me a better person. I’m more focused and in line with my values and my goals. I stopped letting negativity get me down.”

Halle Berry also shared that her children are just now beginning to understand that she is a celebrity.
