Renown rapper and lyricist Kennedy Ombima alias King Kaka has opened up on his struggle with an ongoing undisclosed illness. The rapper took to his Instagram to share his experience with the disease that has seen him drastically lose weight.

Following his ill health, the musician says he has a newfound respect for God and for life adding that his health had inspired the name of his upcoming EP dubbed ‘Happy Hour’.

In the post, King Kaka showed appreciation to his wife, Nana Owiti, and his mother noting that they have been great pillars through the three months. He, however, pointed that he misses his children suggesting that he might be away from them.

Local celebrities led fans in wishing the ‘Wajinga Nyinyi’ hitmaker a quick recovery. Some of the well known Kenyans who left their comments of support on the rapper’s post include YY comedian, Marini CEO Michelle Ntalami, Yvonne Darcq
